The Gold Medal Wine Club offers multiple wine clubs to meet the needs of all different level of wine drinkers. Most wine clubs have just one option, but with all the choices at Gold Medal, you can get wine for wine drinkers of all experience!

They have basic clubs which contain award winning wines from wineries in California, an upper level premium wine club with rare wines, a luxury wine club which contains some of the best wines you can find, and an international wine club which will give you a taste of different vineyards across the globe.

WineAccess.com offers some very good wines individually or as part of a wine club. WineAccess is a high quality wine club but they are not my favorite (more on that later).

The WineAccess wine club provides two options for consumers.

While WineAccess has very good wine, their wine club may be a bit overpriced. They also don’t give you many options or much customization when selecting a wine club. You have two options and that’s it. Although WineAccess has a good wine club, their high prices and lack of options prevents them from competing with the best wine clubs.

NOW, let’s talk about my favorite wine club, the Zagat Wine Club. Zagat has an amazing offer for first time buyers which WineAccess doesn’t even come close to.

Zagat gives the consumer more options. You can get all reds, all whites, or a mixed pack. It also is much better priced and even gives first time buyers a free gift for signing up.

Aside from the great price and free gift, the tasting notes are extremely fun to read through and learn from. If you put in the effort, the Zagat Wine Club will help you learn a lot about all the wine varieties.

Review My Wines Direct Wine Club

My Wines Direct is a very nice wine club which has delightful wine. The only problem in our eyes, is their pricing. It is a bit on the high side and they do not have a very competitive introductory offer like most other wine clubs.

The intro pack that My Wines Direct offers is $79.95 for 6 bottles of wine…a mixed tasting pack of 4 red wines and 2 white wines.

Compare this to 4Seasons wine club which offers an introductory offer of 12 bottles of wine, free tasting notes, and a free $40 corkscrew all for only $69.99 and My Wines Direct has trouble competing.

If you are looking for a slightly bigger selection than you should go with My Wines Direct, but be prepared to almost pay double in price.

If you are looking for a high quality wine club which is affordable and will make a great present for someone or even yourself, then check out 4Seasons.
