Is Wine Good For Your Health?
If you drink wine in moderaton, then Yes! Wine is good for you. Adding a little wine to a healthy diet can add years to your life.
Wine has been shown to decrease a persons risk of certain cancers, heart disease, and also slow Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease.
Wine contains flavanoids and resveratrol wich are antixidants that prevent “free radicals.”
The alcohol content in wine is also good for you. Moderate amounts of alcohol helps to raise your HDL-Cholesterol (good cholesterol).
So how much is good and how much is too much?
Studies show that men should drink NO MORE than 2 glasses per day.
Women should stick to NO MORE than 1-1.5 glasses per day.
If you start to exceed these levels, you could be actually hurting yourself. Always cosume wine in moderation!
